What a Girl Wants began as a signature handbag auction in a single city and has grown into a national fundraiser. Held in multiple cities across the country, the event targets professional women between the ages of 25 and 65 and features music, fashion shows, silent auctions, signature cocktails, live entertainment and the chance to mingle with like-minded peers. Each city adds their own local flair and a VIP list of powerful women from business, government and media.

Organized by women for women, What a Girl Wants offers the ultimate girls’ night out with a purpose. All proceeds from the event go toward liver research and education to help combat the over 100 forms of liver disease that affect 1 in 10 Canadians.
